Now Foods quality tests any material they receive on every Lot and every time they receive material they test for identity, purity, heavy metals, bacteria, yeast, mold and contaminates. **Q: WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF TAURINE?** A: I have been researching Taurine since my girl, Suzy, was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy just before Thanksgiving of last year. She is a Black Labrador Retriever and is currently being kept alive by Vetmedin, Enalapril, Furosemide and Taurine every 12 hours, along with Fish oil once a day. She gets frequent check ups by her Vet Cardiologist and seems to be doing so much better! One night her symptoms just came out of nowhere to where she was coughing so violently and having such difficulty with breathing that we had to take her to the Emergency Vet.
