Now, it seems that the lithium ion version is no longer available. It gave full power right up to self-shutdown and lasted longer on a charge than the NiCad. In contrast, the NiCad starts at full speed but eventually slows down until it's unusable, and it's running time on a full charge is much shorter than the lithium ion version.
