It seems that everything in it is fairly typical.** A: No idea. We've used it on ourselves for years for everything from insect bites to burns to shingles. Maybe FDA did not approve some portion of it, or the combination, for human use. **Q: will this cure dog lice?** A: Absolutely not. You need to treat lice the right way. **Q: Does it stop itching on my dog?** A: Only temporarily relieved my dog's itching due to allergy to grass, seemed to cause more itching on the 2nd day after the shampoo. I do see some relief from Farnam Aloe Heal Cream. **Q: What if my dog licks it off and what are the ingredients?** A: I don't think it will be an issue.. You only use a very small amount she should run it in the area it's being used on ## Frequently Bought Together - Farnam Medicated Shampoo with Aloe Vera and Iodine | Moisturizing and Gentle | for Horses, Ponies and Dogs | 16 oz - Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Antifungal Medicated Shampoo for Dogs & Cats, 16 Fl Oz – Helps Alleviate Scaly, Greasy, red Skin – Paraben, Dye, Soap-Free (1 Pack) - Chlorhexidine 2% for Horses & Dogs, One Gallon --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/358140294-farnam-aloedine-medicated-shampoo-horse-dogs-skin-pain-reliever-deep](https://www.desertcart.us/products/358140294-farnam-aloedine-medicated-shampoo-horse-dogs-skin-pain-reliever-deep) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
