Tips to make it easier for your do it yourselfer’s.1) have a pair of needle nose pliers to pull out the cotter pin on the old burners, if your careful you can re-use them. If not buy some at the local hardware store.2) have a pair of wire cutters to snip the ignition wire for each burner. It makes it easy to take out especially since your igniter screws will be rusted to the old burner.3) once you install the burners, igniters, and wires use some small zip ties to tidy up the excess wire. They do come with longer than expected wire, but you can make it tidy.4) if you have trouble lighting the burners, make sure the spark is lined up to hit the gas hole out of the burner. Note it will take some time for the gas to flow, be patient and don’t set yourself on fire. Over time the gas will eventually flow easier and light much quicker.5) replace the AA battery in the igniter button. Simply unscrew the push button, and put a new battery in.6) if you want to make it brand new, get new grates and grease drip pan. I didn’t, but I keep my pretty clean.
