They are intricately detailed and the person I bought this for is an adult collector that has about 15 of the figures and items. (Some that she has are the Time Turner necklace, and the Horcrux Locket). As with any collectable item, it all depends on perceived value. Also, collections are more valuable, the more complete they are. One or two of the figures would not be as valuable per piece, as if you owned all the items available in this series of collectables. The first Fawkes I received was broken but as soon as I put in the request, Amazon ordered a new one to be sent out and the second one was in perfect condition.
