**Q: Can i buy just the new valve and replace it myself ? if so where can i fine what i need to be up to date ? the cost will kill me to replace my 4 tanks**
A: You can buy buy the new valve but it has to be installed by a professional so it can be pressure tested. you have to have a special tool to get the valve off of the old tank.

**Q: Is this the valve that fits on service drain side of bulk tanks?**
A: No, I would need to know exactly what tank you have.

**Q: Is this valve for 100lbs LP tanks?**
A: It can be for 100lb but it will fit in most tanks with 3/4 npt hole ..... valve output threads are 3/8 npt

**Q: Will this work for a 7 lb propane tank?**
A: It should fit any standard propane tank.

To remove old one, soak threads with solvent, use a long pipe on fitting to break it free.
