Review: Great Pack; Easily Hidden - I love this. I use it every day. It has officially replaced my wallet & pockets as my hold-all. It's not wide enough to fit my phone (Pixel 6 Pro), but I like keeping that in my pocket anyways since I pull it out often enough. My biggest concern when getting this was how noticeable it would be. I wanted something like a fanny pack, but didn't want a huge blob sitting on the side of me. This pack easily fits under my shirt with little to no lumps. (For context, my daily wear is pants with belt & pack and an untucked golf polo) I quickly started looping the strap through my belt loops to keep it more in place, since it usually made its way up to my belly. So, with putting the strap through my belt loops, it's kind of annoying how wide the strap is (just small enough to fit through belt loops). The pack has three pockets. One side has a velcro-latch, the other side is open (nothing to hold it closed) and has a small key chain connector. Both are just wide enough to fit a folded dollar bill (USD; folded twice). The open side has a flexible strap (like the main belt strap) that has the "orion" printed on it. You could probably hang something from it or use it to hold something longer (like a pen), but that would probably get annoying/uncomfortable to have poking you in the leg/tummy all day. Stretched out, it looks like it could hold a small umbrella (again, with it poking your side). The middle, main pocket has a nice zipper opening that feels sturdy and nice to use. The main pocket has one divider down the middle, making (essentially) two long, but not very wide pockets. On the back of the divider (about the middle), there is a small pocket sized just wide enough to fit a folded dollar bill. The pack is made of a flexible, stretchy fabric that feels thick and sturdy. Stitching feels like it could hold for many years. The stretchy nature of everything keeps it slim while allowing you to easily stuff several things in. Overall, I love the build quality. I did read some reviews that mentioned how thin the buckle is. While this is true (it is surprisingly thin), it also feels relatively good quality. I've never had it accidentally unbuckle and, since it's so thin, I hardly ever think about it (I never feel it). My only gripe is mostly just my opinion (and how I use it, putting it through my belt loops), and that being how wide the strap is (about 1.5 inches). My personal preference would be a little smaller, like 1 - 1.2 inches, that way it would fit through belt loops a little easier. All things considered, I would definitely recommend.
Review: Absolutely AMAZING running belt and so much more! - I have to admit, I initially bought this belt to use as a travel money belt, as I'm overseas multiple times per year and always use a money belt. In my case, I always tuck the pouch on the INSIDE of my pants, between my underwear and my cargo pants/jeans, primarily for security reasons--it would be doubly difficult for a pickpocket to stick his hands down my pants, and also as a failsafe in case the strap/buckle should ever break, as I can't imagine the entire rig could fall down my pant leg and out past my ankles without me noticing. I am VERY serious about security, as I generally carry several thousand dollars, my passport and backup credit cards in this pouch so if I lose it, I am up the creek. However, after ordering this belt, I started thinking about it more...it's made of neoprene, it has multiple pockets, and it might be a little too thick to stuff down the front of my pants comfortably. Until now I use another polyester money belt that's well-reviewed here on desertcart, which is very thin but not particularly comfortable. But this one would probably be too thick, so I decided I'd just use it to replace an aging and stretched out Amphipod running pouch that I'd used for the last three years (I run 6 days per week). However, once it arrived in the mail (and this seller is awesome, it reached me in two days) and I had the chance to handle it, I was instantly impressed. And this belt is most definitely useful for both running AND travel. 1) The build quality and materials are phenomenal. The neoprene is obviously high-grade, the straps are firm and secure and the buckle is both thin and solid. 2) The layout is PERFECT for my use when running. I use right side smaller pouch with flap cover to hold my keys, the left side pouch to hold some tissue (those occasional nosebleeds in cold weather) and clip my iPod to the outer strap, and then the main pocket holds my insurance card, ID copy and some spare cash. 3) This also functions for my travel usage! One of my main concerns was that the main compartment was just a single main compartment. In my travel belt, I like to keep my passport in the front pouch and cash in the back pouch, so that there's no chance of accidentally pulling out both at once. However, this belt's main pouch has an inner divider, so I can easy store my cash in the back and passport in front. Perfect! 4) This thing is SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE than my old money belt. Yes, it's a little thicker, but my as soon as I held it I knew I could use it inside my pants. I strapped it on and put on my tactical cargo pants I travel with over it. I sat down, I stretched, I moved around...it was so much better. I haven't yet stuffed it full of my travel documents and cash but I'm a veteran traveler and I can tell when something will work. This will work. I actually liked this thing so much I almost bought another one just to keep on the side for travel and use the current one for running, but I'm going to put this belt to the test for a couple of months and see how it goes. But for now, this is quite possibly the best running/travel belt I've come across in my many, many years of running and traveling around the world. Do not hesitate to buy. ***UPDATE, 12/17/2019*** It's been six months so I thought I'd add an update. First, the elastic waistband is beginning to stretch. I now have it tightened to the fullest extent possible to make it sufficiently tight on my 30-inch waist, and I'm going to venture a guess that I'll probably get a full year's use out of this at most. I'm not going to count this as a negative as 1) this has happened to EVERY waist pack I've used in the 15 years I've been running, and 2) I run six days per week, so this thing gets some usage. Waistband aside, the unit itself looks brand new. Zippers function flawlessly, clasp has never failed me and a couple of times a month I throw it in the wash with my running clothes and it comes out looking and smelling brand new. And above all, this thing is just criminally comfortable. All the right pockets and straps, just enough without being bulky and I can comfortably stuff this inside my cargo pants to use as a money belt when traveling. At this price point, I don't mind at all buying a couple a year, or perhaps saving one as my designated travel belt and the other(s) as my running belt. Bottom line: I'll be ordering a few more.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you fit an epi-pen as well as an android phone?**
A: Hi Brendan,Thanks again asking us about The Amazing Running Belt. After our initial reply to you, we wondered ourselves whether two (you are supposed to carry two epi-pens, correct?) pens and a phone would fit in our waist pack. So we went to a local drugstore and road tested it ourselves! We easily fit two standard epi-pens AND an iPhone 6s plus into the zipper compartment, which is about the same size as an android) :)Our engineered, neoprene design allows reasonable stretch and give for iPhones, keys, credit cards, and as it turns out, eli-pens!Remember, our adjustable straps help provide a comfortable fit, and our belt was designed to be sleek and streamlined even with your valuables inside. With both pens and our iPhone 6s plus phone inside, it still closed easily and was not bulky! We would love for you to test our travel belt yourself. We have a 100% Money Back Guarantee with The Amazing Running Belt, so you are at no risk if you want to give it a test run. Thanks again for contacting us personally. We are excited to know we can safely hold epi-pens! We'd love to show you our photos of the pens inside at the drugstore, but we are unable to post photos here. ;(Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.Warm regards,The Mind And Body Experts

**Q: Does this really fit iPhone 7 plus with letterbox defender case?**
A: Yes, it will fit fine. I have an iPhone 7 plus with the Commuter Otterbox and my husband has the Defender. It fits great in the travel version of this belt.

**Q: Is it water proof**
A: Hey Tanveer,So, this is a great question inasmuch as we are so nuts over here about the details it is tempting to tell you the story of how we put our iPhone in the belt and ran water over it to attempt to discover the level of water-resistance... but, we digress ( the experiment works). Our belt is indeed, quite 'water resistant' to that effect, the phone stayed dry even though the outside of the belt was clearly wet. We don't suggest you try this at home, but do know if you get caught in the rain or some such, you should not fear. That being also said, It is not a waterproof product, per se. We do sell a technically waterproof belt of a different design, however, since we can't guarantee that a customer will truly zip it closed, we are prevented from even calling that belt waterproof. Short answer: no, it's not waterproof, it is water- repellant. We actually ran water over the belt with our phone inside just to make certain. :) and it passed even though the belt was damp. The material has been engineered to dry quickly, as it is made from neoprene, like a wetsuit. technically we sell this version which is made of waterproof fabric (link) however, we are prevented from calling even that belt waterproof as their may be user error inasmuch as we can't guarantee clients will close the zipper correctly. Hope this helps The MBE

**Q: What is the difference between the running belt and the running belt travel edition?**
A: Hey MimiSorry for the delay, speaking of Travel... we are in India using ours! ;). The Travel Edition has a larger main pocket, 9 inches x 4 inches, as it is intended to accomodate a family of passports, map , guidebook, or snack as well as a phone, without sacrificing the sleek style or look or comfort at all. You still won't know it's on. There fore, said travel version is meant to tickle your fancy to travel light and hands free wherever you are, keeping essentials on hand, but, NOT occupying your thoughts. Safe travels, safe runs, enjoy putting your phone away, whichever color, style, or style you choose.Warmest regards,The MBE

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality but not suited for right handed people
*by O***. on August 6, 2025*

This is a surprisingly roomy, comfortable belt and fits how I want. But I'm giving it 4/5 stars because it's not optimized for right-handed people. On your waist, the zipper opens going from right to left, meaning it's easier to do with a left hand. And if you wear it as a cross body as a right handed person, the zipper opens upside down, which could spill out the contents if you forget to zip it closed or if you open it while you're wearing it as a cross-body.
