New Made Item: This is a new production of much high quality and accuracy that replaces our former M43 reproduction cap. This German WWII M43 Field Cap is a very high quality reproduction in field grey wool cap with cotton twill lining with nice replicated wartime interior ink stamps. M43 caps were first used by mountain troops but deemed so efficient they were then adopted for general Wehrmacht issue.

They also wear them for cold weather and, really, all the time. The hats are well-made and definitely make boys feel awesome (I guess).

I was looking specifically for a traditionally correct and authentic Jager (alpine) cap without markings of any kind and I wasn’t disappointed! Highly recommended for the discriminating buyer. Update: now that winter is here, I can attest this cap is wonderfully warm, (even when wet!) blocks the wind, and have gotten compliments from hunting buddies and co-workers alike.
