They have the appearance of a leather like material on the finished side and some sort of filler between the top and bottom layer for a quilted finish. The floor mats came with some clips and velcro to secure them in place, but they fit so well I did not need them. The mats came packaged wrapped up and folded. There were creases but I laid them flat in the warm house for a few hours and they relaxed quite a bit. Once in the car the crease is barely noticeable and I expect will disappear completely in a couple of days. I bought a similar product from a different manufacturer (Dashuai) for a similar price and there’s did not fit and they refused to refund, so I was skeptical to order, but I am glad I did. I can’t speak to durability yet as I just put them in, will update after they been in for a while.

Back covers fit great for my Kia Soul but front not so good. I am a seamstress so I can fix what needs to be altered, but someone that does not have industrial machines may have a problem with the front mats. They are good quality and look really nice. They will do the trick of keeping sugar sand and mud off my black carpet. I s=chose the beige to blend in with the sand. The thickness was good with no real smell. I think they are well worth the money even with me making adjustments. I would buy again.
