She is on the small side for her age, and typically wears around a size 7/8, but can still sometimes wear 6x. I ordered the 6T/7T size and they're perfect. Very stetchy so will probably fit even if she has a growth spurt. They fabric is quite thin, which makes them great for these hot days in Florida. But the thin fabric (I know from experience) causes them to only last a few months before some get holes in the higher wear areas. Probably will last longer than the full length ones though, since there isn't a knee area to get wear and tear. She is wearing the black ones right now as play shorts, but due to thin fabric, other colors make it easy to see panties through them.
