It is not too large, holds sufficient items, is easy to disassemble and drain, and is a safe way to store my knives while they are drying. The latter reason was the principal one for purchasing. The gray and white color was also perfect to blend into our kitchen decor. I noticed that at least one reviewer complained the silverware slides down into the unit and then you have to fuss with removal. My easy solution is shown in the photo. I like to put spoons and forks etc., in with the handles out. I generally make sure their fronts are set against the lip of the pad in the back of the unit (see arrow) and that keeps them in place. However, as you can see in the photo the spoon on the right was not put in that way and because it is in one of the front slots and rather vertically inclined it also is staying in place. Good luck and enjoy.

Just what we needed. It is not too large, holds sufficient items, is easy to disassemble and drain, and is a safe way to store my knives while they are drying. The latter reason was the principal one for purchasing. The gray and white color was also perfect to blend into our kitchen decor.
