I would say you could get at least a year out of one of these pencils. They aren't super soft so it doesn't wear down quickly but it applies well and blends beautifully. Pro tip: before using the first time, scribble the pencil on a paper towel to remove the sometimes hard waxy coating. Buy one you won't be disappointed!
