But it will not retrieve the blades from the plastic blade holder as the Gillette does...of course I assumed it would do that when I bought it. The only way to get the blade onto this razor is to manually (by hand) somehow get a blade out of the plastic blade holder, THEN you have to slide it onto the razor. The other problem (I should have known) is that the heavy duty razor is all slick...it's chrome, so when it gets wet it slides around in your hand. Those little rubber rings at the bottom are no help since we don't hold a razor at the bottom, but closer up to the head of the razor. Over all, it's not worth even trying to use this poorly designed razor. Was mine just one bad apple out of the manufacturing plant? I don't know, but I won't buy another.
