I want to cut it to fit the built in seats of my shower.** A: Yes. I cut a slot after my prostatectomy and it is still great. (almost 2 months old) **Q: Does the pillow get moldy** A: It will get moldy if it isn’t cleaned periodically. I don’t want suction cups and it needs to be stiff so it won’t fall down.** A: Ido not see why it could not be used on the back of a chair. The one that I have does not have suction cups but does not move at all when I sit on it. **Q: does this cushion has straps to tie with shower chair?** A: No straps, but really not necessary. My father is 200 pounds. I don't believe it qould move regardless of weight.
