Clear picture and good battery life ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Pros and cons *by T***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 January 2022* Has advantages and disadvantages, but I guess you get what you pay for. It is definitely value for money, but I did have trouble setting it up as it simply would not pair with the Wi-Fi, but then worked fine the next day and ever since - other reviewers have not had this problem, so perhaps it was just me! I find the picture good (especially at night and good colour rendering during the day), but I probably needed to fix it lower down for shorter visitors (the fisheye lens works well horizontally, but cuts off vertically downwards). I also find it too motion-sensitive; it has 3 settings, but will still pick up movement 4m away on the public footpath, even on a low setting. I find it takes a while to get the image on my phone/tablet when I receive notifications, but that may be a Wi-Fi or reception issue.I understand there is a slot for an SD card, but the instructions are very poor and I wouldn't have known what this was for if it hadn't been for another reviewer. Also, it comes with connections for a wired-in doorbell but, again, the instructions don't mention it! However, the battery seems to last a long time, so it's not a problem and it even alarms when you remove it for recharging (presumably in case someone is minded to steal it)! Be careful of the screws - they are tiny, and I lost one on installation (fortunately I keep spares).Overall, though, I'm satisfied with it and will keep adjusting the performance to get the best compromise. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Value for money *by D***I on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 December 2022* I see a few complaints in the reviews but to be honest these are issues people are having because they don't know how to set it up - which for my money, was easy - **remember to purchase a micro SD card** - I got a 32GB which is plenty, then download the app, insert your SD card. charge the unit for 6 hours before use, follow the instructions to pair the device to the app, set up your PIR sensitivity if the camera faces the road and you don't want to catch every passing car, set up what notifications you want from the app and you're done, it's that simple. All that's left to do then is play with the app to get used to how it all functions.I bought this unit to replace a different one from a different manufacturer who tried to charge a subscription after 3 months when they'd advertised it as free for the lifetime of the unit - with this one you can buy a subscription if you like, but you don't need to if you have a SD card. The camera is sharp and so it and the app is a big improvement on the last unit I had, and given it's price now - 20 quid with voucher - that's a steal. The only negative is the battery life - it will last 90 days if you just use it as just a doorbell but if you watch the live feed for any particular length of time the battery level will drop like a stone - me personally, I'm going to look at giving it a 24vDC permanent supply then that way they'll be no worries, the two terminal screws on the back of the unit make that possible.Really satisfied with this unit - just keep in mind that your phone will be the doorbell chime unless you buy the chime for it. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/354159185-winees-wireless-doorbell-outdoor-doorbell-connected-wi-fi-video-doorbell](https://www.desertcart.us/products/354159185-winees-wireless-doorbell-outdoor-doorbell-connected-wi-fi-video-doorbell) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
