Review: it is worth it. - I had the ES35 and It was ok, but I felt something was missing, like an empty sound, so I plunged for the ES30, what a difference, suddenly voices could be heard, and a more filling sound, and oh yes, it can thump on base. I have a full set up of Polk ES speakers and two subs, with rear speakers, height speakers, this filled in that empty sound, and I am so glad a got it, changed my speakers to 90hz, and have not looked back, you will be happy with the ES30, nut in a 200 Square foot bedroom the ES35 is good too, just not for large spaces like the ES30 fits into.

Since none of the actors annunciate, articulate their lines these days you need all you can get to try and understand what they're saying and this speaker helps. When these new actors mumble and whisper their lines having this speaker gives me a 50-50 chance of understanding what they're saying where in the past I got next to nothing. Everything on my system sounds better since I install the speaker I would recommend it .

**Q: How does the signature elite differ from the signature?**
A: Hello, the new ES speaker series have new drivers and slight cosmetic changes. They are also voiced a little differently as well.

**Q: Tell me these speakers will sound a whole lot better than my Polk tsi200 and a sub. I’m thinking of a pair of these are they worth the difference**
A: They will definitely be fuller sounding.  I use a 15 sub with my home theater but they could stand alone.

**Q: Are these sold as a pair or individually?**
A: Hello and thank you for your question. The Polk Audio ES60 tower speakers are sold individually.

**Q: I cannot remove the red & black plastic to push banana plug. I tried different knives & have done this with many speakers. Is there a trick to it?**
A: I also had a difficult time removing the caps.  What I ended up doing, it worked quite well, was to use a very small screwdriver, one that I usually use for small electronics or eyeglass work (Flathead not Phillips of course), and used this small screwdriver to pry out the plastic cap and it worked like a snap.

I had the ES35 and It was ok, but I felt something was missing, like an empty sound, so I plunged for the ES30, what a difference, suddenly voices could be heard, and a more filling sound, and oh yes, it can thump on base. I have a full set up of Polk ES speakers and two subs, with rear speakers, height speakers, this filled in that empty sound, and I am so glad a got it, changed my speakers to 90hz, and have not looked back, you will be happy with the ES30, nut in a 200 Square foot bedroom the ES35 is good too, just not for large spaces like the ES30 fits into.

I’ve test Polk t30/xt30these are good center speakers but if you want greater exceptional sound es30 is it. I was turning the volume up and down and couldn’t figure out my issue until I got this es30 center speakers now I can hear crystal clear sound with some punch on an old denon. Skips the lower center speakers and get the es lineup.
