It was a well known make, but definitely did not live up to expectations, it even had what looked like residue on the plate, which did not shift and made the iron drag on the fabric. So after much deliberation, (due to the price), and research, I decided to give this Tefal steam generator a go as the reviews were good and the normal price was reduced by £100. Having never used a steam generator Iron before, I have to say I’m really impressed. The iron itself is lovely and light to use and the water tank is huge, meaning less refills. The unit heats up reasonably quickly and is very easy to use, but the most impressive thing is that creases come out very easily, and folded items are ironed both sides at once, so my ironing time is reduced significantly, winner, winner! So far I’m a very happy customer and at this time (having only used the iron once) I would definitely recommend this iron.
