For the price, they are much cheaper than many similar alternatives, but the quality still feels very good. The 5m length is also really generous and gives plenty of flexibility depending on where you want to place them. They create a really nice atmosphere in the room and are perfect for adding background lighting or making a space feel more modern. The app is easy to use and allows you to change the colours and settings without much hassle. I also use mine with Alexa, which makes them even more convenient because I can control the lights with voice commands. Setup was straightforward, especially when following the instructions and app prompts correctly. They also work with both Android and Apple devices, which is useful. My main issue is that, despite having a good internet connection, the lights do seem to drop offline from time to time. When this happens, they sometimes need to be reset, which can be incredibly inconvenient, especially if they are placed behind furniture or in harder-to-reach areas. Overall, these are affordable, good-quality LED lights that are easy to set up, simple to control, and excellent for improving the look and feel of a room. This is regularly on offer for between £16 and £18. So, If you can wait, it's a great price I bought this because it's from Tapo and I had a great experience with their smart light bulbs... and I was not disappointed This is the great quality that you come to expect from a brand like Tapo It's super simple to connect to the app and is effortless to use. The app allows you to change colours, brightness etc and even comes with mood modes which can change through colours to mimic things such as a roaring fire colour or festive colours This also works great with our Echo / Alexa The product itself is quite fun to install. We put this on our 55 inch TV amd it was plenty big enough. The lights are super sticky when attaching them, so there is no worry about the stickiness and it fastening or keeping fastened They are fairly easy to install. It gives you tips in the instructions of how to fit around corners, which is really useful when it comes to attaching to things such as TVs Will be buying more of these.... in the sales, of course!
