My kid likes to drink it with no straw and it makes no sound , although she does not suck super hard yet **Q: Is this recommended to keep my baby's milk cold?** A: It is well insulated, but if you are putting it in a lunch box or something then I would also recommend an ice pack. **Q: What size is the straw used? I would like to get replacement stress for this kids water bottle.** A: It's the exact same straw the 12 oz Thermos Funtainers use. They are 5 inches or 12.7 cm. So I removed the straw, but water flow is very slow. Disappointed that the instructions say not to be used with hot water. I prefer to put warm water for my kid, that’s the reason I bought the stainless steel bottle.
