Review: Good value - The quality is better than I expected. Build quality, reception and sound quality are all pretty good. The size makes it handy and easy to take anywhere. Weatherband has a good strong signal. The tuning indicator is a bit off from the channel but it's close enough to be functional. I'm glad I went analog instead of digital for tuning. Might get another to add to the emergency kit in the jeep. Update: Six months in and it still works great. Used it for weather alerts through a rough night. No disaster issues but having this kept us informed and gave me piece of mind during a big storm. I did buy a second for the jeep and may buy a third for my tackle box.

The quality is better than I expected. Build quality, reception and sound quality are all pretty good. The size makes it handy and easy to take anywhere. Weatherband has a good strong signal. The tuning indicator is a bit off from the channel but it's close enough to be functional. I'm glad I went analog instead of digital for tuning. The sound quality is good for such a small radio. I get the weather station and other stations with ease and sound good. I tested the headphone port and I get sound in the left and right side of my headphones. I really like it! It's great for emergencies or just listening to the AM/FM/NOAA when mobile networks or internet is down.
