I.e. current reverses during the charge.** A: Wrong! there is a stamp in molding by poles which indicates which side is battery (batt) and Auxiliary aux. Battery side is on top in most cases. **Q: 150A or 200A manual reset circuit breaker will be ok between battery bank and 3k inverter, using 2/0 wire? Or should I fuse instead.?** A: Remember 2/0 Copper Wire is rated up to 170 Amps. Installing a 200A breaker risks the chance of the wire overheating and causing a fire. **Q: Would this 40amp be suitable for connecting my new 4000w generator to the main switchboard?** A: No! This is a DC rated breaker if your generator makes AC power which I suspect it does you need a traditional AC breaker. **Q: why there is more than 10% voltage drop in the Circuit Breaker ?** A: If you're measuring 10% voltage drop across this breaker you have something wrong going on.
