Review: good product - excellent for drafts
Review: decent gasket strip - It is an okay weather strip. It is vinyl, so it has a limited life for an exterior application. It does not come with a glue strip or any adhesive. No suggestions in the instructions, so you will need to decide how to attach it. I got this for temporary use until I refinish the steel door to my basement. It will slow the air and water that leaks past the old foam gasket. I chose contact cement for the adhesive. It should hold up well and still be removable with acetone. The price point was very good for my purpose.

## Features

- Seals gaps around windows and doors while it cushions

## Questions & Answers

**Q: can it be used for soundproofing?**
A: anything can be used for anything, but this is not a listed use.

**Q: Can this be used with a door that has a flange instead of nailing it?**
A: I used in a window groove. Inserted the seal and it worked fine.

**Q: I want to stuff into seam where windows close (abt 1/8" b/t window frame & sill) to help with drafts, but w/out permanently affixing. Will this work?**
A: While I recall it was not a full 1/4"D, I don't think it could be crammed into a 1/8" slot. If you can push the frame outward against the word strips outside of the movable part of the window, you may slow the draft. Try jamming cardboard, folded to the appropriate thickness, may be usefull.
If there is no storm window, conside adding a layer of bubble wrap over the entire window. This will add a layer of non-moving air to provide some insulation. Stay warm!
