The magnet system on this screen is far superior to my last one. This product was easy to install and much nicer than the one I had before but it is already shown signs of fatigue in less than one week after installing it. My issues are as follows:#1) The contact of the weighted screen on the cement floor has caused the bottom to start to rip and expose the weights within the nylon pocket. Some weights have come out of the pocket. This happened 5 days after installing the new screen. We have a side door into our garage which is used a majority of the time, thus, we rarely use the magnetic entry provided on the screen and its purpose is purely for protection against flying insects during the summer months.#2) The adhesive does not hold up to natural heat. I live in Michigan (not a "really hot" area) and my garage faces due west and has no protection from the late afternoon-evening sun. The temperature has been in the mid-to-high 80s over the past two weeks in my area, but the constant sun has caused the adhesive to fail and the Velcro strips to separate from the wall. The tacks provided have torn slits in the Velcro as the weight of the screen without the strength of the adhesive has proven too much.Therefore, my reasoning for 2 stars rating and not a 1 star is that the screen may work for someone that has a garage that faces north or east and never uses the magnetic opening, keeps it an inch above the concrete floor and/or has no subtle breezes in their area. Otherwise, the product has shown it may require some quality upgrades in these areas as mentioned above. I have repaired my issues with the use of black duct tape (nylon weight pockets) and screws (Velcro areas). However, I find it disappointing that I am repairing a product that has been installed for only 1 week. It was easy to install, the stitching was nice, and the magnets worked well. Alas, after about a week of use, the weight of the magnets started to wear on their pockets. I took some black packaging tape and wrapped it around the seam, which seemed to work just fine and was barely noticeable. However, then I had to work on rehanging it - the strips started melting away. ...I used a staple gun.In the end, it keeps the bugs out and has some good qualities... but it doesn't hold up.
