Car is out of warranty and the dealership doesn’t replace covers, they replace the entire assembly. My car has 177,000 miles on it so I couldn’t justify spending money on the entire assembly. I was worried about this shark fin replacement fitting and my radio and nav system working but took my chances. This shark fin cover fits and my radio/nav system works well. I didn’t hook any wires up or do anything special because I truly just don’t care and just wanted the electrical board covered. So, I gorilla glued the bottom of the shark fin and covered the electrical board with the fin. I let that sit for a couple days and didn’t drive my car then sealed it with black silicone all around. I let this sit for 15 hours overnight. I woke up and there was frost all over my car and the fin so I thought it would break off. But had to go to work so I took my chances! All was well and I drive on the highway and it didn’t fly off. It is extremely secure, fits and covers the board, and the radio/nav system still works!!
