The loft on the Sand wedge is 48 degrees. We made the loft extra strong to improve distance but at the same time, create a nice arc to help your ball land softly on the green. Please let us know if you have any other questions at all. **Q: Is there a difference between the senior sand hybrid and a ladies senior sand hybrid club** A: yes, womens is shorter and lighter and the grip is smaller **Q: what is the difference between K5 and K5S** A: I asked the same question to the company when I bought the set. They stated that the S series is the newer model but they did not detail any specific differences. I purchased the S series from 4 hybrid to SW hybrid and I absolutely love them. I have a K5 5-Wood too, which I also love. Took some practice getting used to them all, but once I did, all is good. **Q: with the SW do you still hit behind the ball in a bunker?** A: When I do use the hybrid SW in the bunker, I play it like a regular SW, depending on the condition of the sand. There is greater club head mass so it does require some getting used to.
