Review: Great WIDE mouth thermos for 2nd grader's lunch. - This is the third Thermos that I have tried for my second grader. The first one was fine, but I allowed it to get gross so I had to toss it, the second was too hard for him to open at school. THIS IS THE ONE! It's big - think wide, not tall. He can eat directly out of it, and it can fit two full sized corn dogs (without the sticks). Chicken Nuggets, Rice with meat, and Spaghetti are all winners in this thing.. My son reports that all meals are warm when he eats and he happily eats everything I put in it. This thing really freed him and me from the daily sandwich shackles. Another added bonus with its large mouth size is that I can fit my entire hand and washcloth in it for cleaning. So easy! Happy to report that if I have to buy another lunch thermos, this will be the one! EDIT: Wow. This company really came through for me. My son lost the inner venting O-ring at school. Not because it fell out, because he likes to pick at things. Totally his fault. I contacted Bentgo about this yesterday and they sent me a replacement QUICKLY, no extra charge! What service! Thanks, Bentgo!!! If you are still reading, just buy this one already. :)

A: Plastic - I don't know specifically what kind of plastic, though.

**Q: Whats the size of the opening when the lid is removed?**
A: It's 5 inches.

**Q: Can you clean in the dishwasher?**
A: You CAN, but hand-washing is recommended.  Because it is vacuum insulated, you're better off handwashing.  I have had issues with other vacuum insulated containers in the dishwasher - the barrage of water can force moisture into the interstitial space and, over time, cause mold to grow...

**Q: how many containers it come with I saw 5 set but can tell if it true or not?**
A: Only one container per set.
