Have now read Lemon Balm can interfere with Thyroid function and you shouldn’t take it if you are on medication for thyroid issues. No disclaimer on the packaging advising this - so I’d suggest reading some studies. You shouldn’t also take Lemon Balm long term without breaks. Probably best to grow your own Lemon Balm (safer) and just use a purely L-Theanine supplement. I think it might be helping as I clench my teeth when I sleep but with this I seem to sleep deeply and are less aware of issues.
