My husband and I make bread on a regular basis and the dome makes the perfect loaves each time. My mom even wants to purchase one because of how good the bread tastes! She's convinced it's from this dome and I couldn't tell you either way because I haven't tried making bread without it. It's just so convenient to use and as a bonus it serves as a second bowl for my KitchenAid mixer. That is actually how I found this! I was looking for a second bowl because most of the recipes I use require two bowls. A second regular bowl would cost half the cost of this one... I know it's expensive but this one serves a dual purpose and it's been getting good use in our household. Highly recommend!
