Even after a single coat it seemed like a second wasn't necessary as it covered so well, we did anyway to future proof as long as possible. Very pleased with how easy this paint was to apply, virtually odourless. For those considering this project, here is what I used/did. Get a chisel or another suitable hard pointed tool to remove existing grout/compound in between tiles. Try to remove as much of it as possible, I found a handheld hoover really helped here. Don't want your paint roller picking up clumps of dirt or dust. Use the etch and clean stuff resincoat provide, follow instructions including jet wash afterwards. Let patio dry for 2 days. Open tin of paint, mix well ( I used drill attachment). Use an angled brush to paint along edges and corners (cutting in). Then pour paint into rolling tray, and use a medium pile rolling sleeve with an extension pole. Get rolling.
