Hope the company can weather the insane tariffs coming because right now they are the best inexpensive boots available. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great boots except for the tread *by M***R on June 6, 2020* These boots look great and are very comfortable. Huge fan of the leather quality and color. I have been riding a motorcycle with them for the past four months and the telltale "shifter toe" wear isn't even visible. The Goodyear welt is also phenomenal. It is easy to tell how much higher quality these are than your typical glued sole boots at this price point. Also very water resistant as long as you don't submerge them past the laces. You will be able to walk through wet grass and shallow puddles without your feet getting wet. You can stand in these all day with no issues because of the comfortable inner sole and arch support. I did get a couple blisters after a five mile walk in them, though I suspect that is due to wearing thin cotton socks instead of more padded wool or synthetic ones. They are a tight fit around the ankles so can be tough to get on but fit perfectly once you get your foot in. I do not like the tread on the bottom. The crepe outer sole does not have any grip whatsoever on snow or ice and is more slippery than I'd like when wet. It has also started to wear flat in spots after one year of use; this is expected but because the crepe tread is so thin the sole has worn to slicks. Thankfully it is very good rubber so only is an issue when wet or walking over sand. Overall, these are great boots and would highly recommend them but for city-use only. I bought these as motorcycle boots that would still look nice enough for work and they fit the bill perfectly for that.
