This product will definitely give your hair a more shiny effect. I was blessed with long fine hair with a little wave and lots of lovely depth. Enter the “mid life” and that changes! My hair was still fine with a little wave, but the baby hairs would frizz like a halo while the rest was dry as a bone, breaking off with no sheen. All over highlight that fried my hair did not help either. Then I tried this! It does work. Different hair will need different “processing” times, and this can make my fine hair flat if I leave it on too long. I would skip the roots but I need the smoothing effect on the frizz. Typically use it in the shower after washing and very lightly conditioning my hair, and leave it on for a few minutes. Personally I love the scent, the gleamy pearly color of the product itself, and the results. Not sticky or feeling build up at all. I took off one star because of the packaging. You have to unscrew and remove the cap, which is very awkward in the shower. the formula is very liquidy and can accidentally be wasted when pouring into your hand first, it slips right out and down the drain. a “nozzle” style dispenser would allow for application directly to the hair. I will try squeezing it directly on my hair and see if that helps save product & update.
