So I originally purchased this 3 years ago for my daughter and fell absolutely in love with it. Then when my son was born I wanted to get him one too and was sad to see that it was a very different product. The wool sheds a lot. Which poses a serious problem as the baby will definitely be munching on it.The one my daughter has was incredible. If she was ever wet during the night from spit up or peeing through, the wool kept her nice and warm until the next change. And during the summer, when it's hot the wool stays wonderfully cool.Overall it was a great product, just sad it changed.

    Itchy and does not wash well

I expected the blanket to be a lot softer then it is.  My new born still sleeps on it so I gave it at least 2 stars.  I washed it and combed it out and by the time I was done the blanket looked like it was many years old not to mention it took over an hour to comb.  Not worth the price.  My sister has same type of blanket and it is much softer.  I will try a different brand next time.
