Cuts wonderfully through paper and even card stock. However, it has a tough time cutting through card stock with a piece of standard weight paper glued to it and both sides covered with a layer of clear packing tape. I can get it to cut most of the circle but not all of it. (I have arthritis in my hands) I bought it with the intention of cutting out 1inch paper tokens for ttrpgs like D&D. And it doesn't work as well as I would like for that. I did not dock the product stars as it does work great for the paper product load it was designed to handle. As a crafter, I still have tons of normal uses for it, so I am still happy with it. Just keep in mind that if you intend to get this for heavier projects, like I described, you may be disappointed.
