After baking, it can be sanded, drilled, carved and painted with water-based acrylic paints. I used this with kids ages 10 and up to make small oil lamp pots for Easter. It was easy for them! I can't believe how fast it bakes. I used it for a church youth Easter activity and a family Easter activity, and it was a hit both times! The pots baked in 15 min at 275 degrees in the oven because we didn't make them very thick. I am going to buy and 8 pound box to use for Easter from now on! I love this stuff!
