## Description

The Platinum Metallic additive, mixed as a third component together with Starlike EVO color Neutro Metallic Base 113. It allows you to grout with unique and exclusive results with a metallic effect. This additive is available in pre-dosed package for the 2.5 kg Starlike Grout buckets.

Review: This gets much harder than any grout. - Epoxy grout works great and the sparkle is incredible looking in the sun.
Review: Perfect color but grout cracked out - I got the Shining Gold grout additive. The color matches the bathroom perfectly, but the grout cracked out in a few places. You can see in the pic that some of it is missing — it came out in long pieces that weren’t completely dry (top of pic). It was like wet sand the way it looked and stuck together. This was on day 1 and day 4 that this happened, and I noticed it while cleaning the tiles of residue. I’ve contacted my tile guy and will see what he says. I’m a bit concerned that more grout will come out and have been in there very little since the grout was laid last Friday. Please note that this takes 5 days to cure, per the packaging — not overnight or 2 days like some other grouts.

**Q: Can this product be used without the metallic add-ins to achieve a translucent effect?**
A: Starlike EVO 113 Neutro can’t be used alone because it isn’t translucent. (It’s based on quartz and not glass) and the final color is a Brown/grey not nice to see and not transparent/translucent like Crystal 700.
 
Better to choose a color from our color chart in this case or use Crystal if you want to have a translucent effect.

**Q: can i use epoxy grout over existing? Will it bond to existing outdoor grout?**
A: You can use it over existing grouts but you will need to dig out about 2cm of the existing grout.
