Perfect size for 7 year olds to hold and they are beautiful in person. They feel like solid wood and are such great quality no one could believe what I paid for them until they bought their own! The teacher is debating on just using these instead of the ones from the dance company since these are much nicer. Great quality for the value, fantastic look and the sound is great. These are not little plastic sounding ones you would get from a party store by any means! Great wooden sound quality and super durable. These will last to weekly lessons for 6 months until the recital. Glad I found these and shared with friends!
