Biswing 2 Way Garden Hose Splitter Converts a single water outlet into 2 ways, very convenient for you to control the work in different places at the same time. Made of high quality heavy duty brass materials, very solid, corrosion proof and has a long service time. Both hose connector can be turned on and off individually, so you can use one or others according to your need. Notes: 1.Please choose the correct hose size. 2.To prevent leakage, make sure the connector has rubber ring. 3.When the weather gets cold, be sure to remove the hose splitter from the faucet. 4.If water leaks after a long period of use, please replace with a new washer. 5.Do not leave the fitting unattended or under pressure when not in use.

Review: Works as expected - This worked perfectly to set up a system to have one garden hose set up to water plantings at the front of my house (it has to feed under the fence) and have a second hose set up to water the back yard. It is attached to the faucet securely, and I like the ability to shut off either hose - or both - with a valve. There were no leaks, and it worked perfectly. I have removed it for the winter and will store it in a space that is heated. As someone who lives where winters can get extremely cold, we learn not to let removable things stay exposed to the elements.

I am not sure what type of tap they were trying to fit it to but it fits perfectly for me with zero leaks and I have very high water pressure here. Perhaps they received a faulty item. It might be a little better if the plastic levers were brass but really that's being a bit pedantic. I could probably find a cheaper product at Bunnings but this was delivered literally overnight and the convenience is appreciated. Cheers. I do notice it says "showing" pets instead of showering pets in the listing, perhaps get it fixed.

**Q: How do I turn the black switches to the "on" position? I have tried to move them many times and cannot get either switch to move.**
A: Turn each one towards the top center

**Q: Is this lead free?**
A: The materials list is brass & rubber. I don't know why they do not mention plastic which it obviously has (the valve handles). Kinda hard to find lead in stuff these days. Would be bad I think for this product as lead is generally soft and would corrode with the water. J don't think you will ever find out for sure with inexpensive products. The only way is to buy one and take it to a lab and have it checked. Probably very expensive to do so I would think.
