The garlic is veeery light. Portion is a bit small compared to other brands. It is VERY sweet akin to the sweetness of bulgogi sauce or other korean sauces ive had in korean restaurants and fast food. For those whining about chewiness.... its not pasta. Its literally just like kinmochi. Rice cake is a very misunderstood translation. Its made put of literally rice pounded and pounded traditionally or fancy machines in modern times. Its going to be a bouncy gummy texture. Basically think of plain flavoured mochi (which means it tastes like rice). Just cause it looks like penne on a photo doesnt mean you should come expecting penne pasta texture. This is a common east asian staple. So only order if you like mochi in all its forms. Steamed. Boiled. Sweet. Savory. There is some savory and spicy flavour. But the sweetness is overwhelming it. You gotta have a varied palate to actually taste it.
