Tried changing settings, software. Ran some old unused laser cleaner paper several times. Helped a little. Thought we’d try a new cartridge and found this drum and cartridge combo set. Easy to install and new life for the office printer. Which is great, since it is also the scanner with sheet feeder to the computer for us. Glad we didn’t have to get rid of it and took the chance on this product, since the investment was reasonable in case it didn’t help and we needed new printer. Bought color Lexmark a few years ago and the cartridges have gotten so ridiculously high and we only need a small amount of color toner, so the brother is the go to for most of our office printing.
