Most sensible design available, and curiously rare at that. *by J***N on April 5, 2023* I've often wondered why car seat covers are designed to cover the entire car seat. Do people spill all over the car seats regularly? How do people spill anything on the back of the seats? The answer is they don't. Pulling a seat cover over the entire seat is unnecessary. Most car seat covers interfere with the seat belt ports also. I have routinely found myself searching for the seat belt port hidden behind a car seat cover. These seat covers are sensibly designed to protect the seat against everyday occupancy that discolors the seat fabric over time. They don't require removing the headrest or cutting the fabric for fit. I'm surprised these aren't the de facto standard for seat covers. That said I am delighted with the sensibility of the design. I was able to lay the covers down over the seat and affix the top strap around the headrest without any difficulty, and moreover, the nicely crafted manufactured seat cover is still visible. Kudos to a smartly designed car seat cover that ought to have been standardized long ago. Update: The rung on the strap clip broke so I had to wrap the strap around the outer frame of the strap clip.
