The camper toilet waste disposal acts more like an outhouse - holding the waste with in a closed container. Our camper only has a direct opening to the tank which is opened when it "flushes" and then closed when it's done flushing. A household toilet has a water trap and is connected to a sewer line or a septic system - in either case the water trap prevents odors from coming back and the waste is removed to a remote area (sewer or septic system). **Q: I have a small t@b with a very small tank. i have not used the kitchen sink, can i use this in the small lav?** A: Yes just let the tab sit in sink to desolve when using. This stuff just melts it away and I’m sure it does the same to any build up in our grey tank. I used to try to fish it out with a screwdriver but now I just drop a tab over the shower drain and watch it dissolve as I spray it with hot water from the shower head.
