I found my son's cast was a bit too close to his underarm to get the best fit although it did work. He is a large 18month old and his thumb couldn't stay in the thumb spot and the cover completely cover the cast at the same time. Only problem I had was be careful if you are using the cover at a place that had rough ground or near any rough objects. My son used it a water park where the ground was rough and it caused tiny holes in cover that allows water in. Review: Arm cucumbers - I bought the one for a toddler. The product is described as fitting toddlers up to age 3. Customers are advised to measure the circumference of the arm above the cast. The problem is the opening is too small to go over the cast. I just had to give up and put a trash bag over my daughter's arm instead. There's no way I could pull up that tiny opening over her entire arm and I felt guilty inflicting that kind of torture on her anyway.
