Also, I wanted to cut down the aluminum vent tube and I could not find my wire clippers and after trying with scissors, I got a hack saw and a cutting board and got it cut down. The plastic melting point is over 300 degrees. Even with all that, install was around 20 minutes. So highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well but not perfect *by M***N on September 26, 2023* The idea looks great but there are flaws. The duct hose is first class ,thin and strong it does the job. But fits very tightly to the plastic connectors. Use caution to not tear the flex hose that could spell disaster. Mine proved strong and held well with only about 1 inch of connection with the plastic connectors. The connectors fit the flex hose tightly but the round end has a taper that does not connect tightly to the short round dryer exhaust port. Thus duct taping the outer lip of the plastic fitting onto the exhaust port was necessary to achieve a seal that will stay connected. I did not want to do this but after the plastic connector came off that became necessary. The wide velcro/plastic straps are not soft enough to achieve a good fit to anything. but not necessary.
