Need 330lbs** A: The kayak itself says 80kg person with 20kg of gear but I have no idea why they set it so low when it's only 3 inches shorter than the inferior quality 2 man explorer that has supposedly double that! I weigh over 80kg myself and wouldn't baulk at moving the seat back and carrying a passenger facing the other way. **Q: Can this be used on the sea?** A: I can't see why not but I would be carful and not go out if it's at all windy as inflatable canoes are effected by the wind far more than sit or sit in hard plastic canoes but on a quiet summer evening for a short paddle and a spot of fishing would be OK , however the reality is going on the sea is a whole different thing than going out on a river I would only attempt it if the weather was calm and the tide wasn't running, I'd also take safety equipment with me such as smoke and signal flares and a signal micro I'd also take a marine band walkie-talkie you can buy them for as little as £35 and always tell someone where you'r going and for how long so if something happened and you didn't return they would be able to alert the coastguard. **Q: Did i need register that kayak?** A: Depending on where you intend to use it, unless it’s private owned you would need a license to use it on most rivers and canal’s. I think it’s about £45 per year. **Q: What sort of bag does this come with? As I don't have a car, I'm looking for a kayak that comes in a backpack** A: The bag is like a massive hold-all. The bad news, the pump stopped working after 7 times. I inflated and deflated after use everytime as it then made it more compack to fit in the carrying bag. Now the handle goes up and down but there's no air.
