Review: Great look, but just doesn’t work. - The desk itself looks really great and is very sturdy. However, the motor used for lifting and lowering the desk is useless. After assembly, the desk would only raise maybe a few inches, would throw up an error code, and then lower back down to where it was. To get the desk to even raise, I had to raise it a couple of inches and stop, then raise it a couple more inches. Lowering wasn’t an issue, though. But now? The motor doesn’t work at all. Extremely disappointing that I spent so much on a desk that doesn’t work. I definitely don’t recommend this product.

**Q: How much writing space between drawer and edge of desk?**
A: About 14 inches deep across the two tray drawers and 47 inches long overall  the entire desk then you have the center open areas which is about 23 inches deep and 23 inches across.  Hope this helps.

**Q: what are the dimensions of the inside of the drawers?**
A: I wouldn't really call them drawers as they more inserts than drawers.  But to answer your question there roughly 12in wide  x 12in long x 2 in deep!

**Q: What is the distance from the top of the desk to the top of the shelf?**
A: 4inches -- which is not enough height for most C-clamps for monitor support stands.  If you intend to use a multi-monitor support stand, know that you will have to drill holes in the top shelf AND probably purchase a short bolt for the stand.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the shelf?**
A: 10 1/2 wide by about 47 inches long

The desk itself looks really great and is very sturdy. However, the motor used for lifting and lowering the desk is useless. After assembly, the desk would only raise maybe a few inches, would throw up an error code, and then lower back down to where it was. To get the desk to even raise, I had to raise it a couple of inches and stop, then raise it a couple more inches. Lowering wasn’t an issue, though. But now? The motor doesn’t work at all. Extremely disappointing that I spent so much on a desk that doesn’t work. I definitely don’t recommend this product.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The perfect rising desk

I was hesitant to get a rising desk because they are typically just a slab of wood on rising legs. When I came across this one, with a shelf and drawers, I could not say no. No regrets! I really like it. The drawers are not deep but deep enough to hide the clutter. The shelf is great for my monitor and makes it the perfect height for when I’m sitting ir standing. I’m tall and was worried the desk wouldn’t go high enough, but it goes higher than I need it to go. I ordered in grey and like the change from wood tones. It’s sturdy. I didn’t put the wheels on. Just the feet. I would highly recommend this desk.
