For one, the ground was too hard to do it by hand where we were staying, and frankly, we also just did not care--it was not a big deal to set it back upright when it was knocked down (they were only knocked down when hit hard and just right by the frisbee, which was not very often anyway). The two stakes for each game is helpful in that they don't fly away, but we played on the beach so every time the disk landed in one of the cans it would fall over anyway. It was great that it was portable so we could pack it up but the zipper for the bag broke after two days of use. We will definitely play this again though.
