The magnets are very strong and more than ample for anything I’ll need this for. I put this to work filling five holes in a trailer fender. I’d estimate 18GA steel. It worked amazing. No more holding a paddle or using a penny to weld up small holes. This will get a lot of use and I’m super happy with this. Frustrated at myself I didn’t buy this sooner!
