Review: Instructions for PUSH BUTTON START vehicles! - Worked perfectly on my 2016 Ford Focus ST winter wheels (with VDO aftermarket TPMS sensors). Since I didn't see this anywhere, instructions for PUSH BUTTON START vehicles are as follows: 1) Make sure ALL TIRES ARE INFLATED TO SPEC 2) Ensure vehicle is in OFF mode 3) PRESS AND RELEASE BRAKE PEDAL 4) Press IGNITION BUTTON 5 times (on-off-on-off-on) ending in ON (within 10 sec) 5) PRESS AND RELEASE BRAKE PEDAL (again) 6) Turn the ignition switch back to OFF. 7) Press the IGNITION BUTTON 5 times ending in ON (same process as step 4) (within 10 sec) 8) The HORN SOUND sound indicates vehicle has entered into TPMS RELEARN mode. 10) Place the top of the TPMS triggering tool very close the sidewall of the DRIVER’S SIDE FRONT tire in the location of the valve stem. PUSH TRIGGERING TOOL BUTTON, HOLDING IT until the horn sounds 11) Once the horn sounds, move on to the PASSENGER SIDE FRONT tire and repeat the process. Each tire should only take 30 seconds or less. 12) Once horn sounds continue on to the PASEENGER SIDE REAR tire and 13) Once horn sounds continue on to the DRIVER’S SIDE REAR tire. 14) You may now turn the ignition to OFF. · If the horn does not sound, the sensors were learned successfully. · If the horn sounds twice, then the process must be repeated because there was a malfunction. (the above was partially copied from another review with the items specific to push button start changed). For my vehicle/TPMS sensor combo it took around 3-5 seconds per wheel for the horn to beep indicating it had learned that sensor. For the price (and especially considering it is an OEM Ford service tool!) it worked wonderfully. 5 stars for price, ease of use, quality, and function. Also fairly small so I just keep it on the glovebox for the twice/year I switch tires.
Review: Be advised, 2 ways to “learn/re-learn” sensors!!! - Bought this product as I installed new TPMS sensors in my Focus RS (2016-2018 years). Worked like a charm. PLEASE UNDERSTAND there are in fact TWO different ways to learn/re-learn your tire pressures. If you just installed new ones and need to sync them to the car for the first time, here is the process: (DO NOT DEPRESS THE CLUTCH TO START CAR!) -Turn ignition to the OFF position -Press and release brake pedal once -Quickly turn the ignition from OFF to RUN/ACC (engine OFF) three times, stop in RUN position -Press and release brake pedal once -Turn ignition OFF -Quickly turn the ignition from OFF to RUN/ACC (engine OFF) three times, stop in RUN position NOTE: All the steps for this process must be performed within 10 seconds. A single horn chirp will indicate the relearn mode is active. After you hear the chirp, the dash should read something like “Tire pressure training mode” and will prompt you to start at the left front tire (LF), then the RF, then the RR, and lastly the LR. Hold the clicker aimed directly at the tire stem as close as possible (or next to the tire stem where the tire meets the rim) as that is where the sensor is located. After each tire is “learned”, it will chirp one time and tell you to move to the next tire which again, starts at driver’s side front tire and goes clockwise around the car. The second possible way to RE-LEARN sensors if you have the same ones installed but changed tires or did a tire rotation is: (DO NOT DEPRESS THE CLUTCH TO START CAR!) -Turn ignition to RUN/ACC position (engine OFF) -Quickly press the hazard button 6 times -The horn will chirp one time and the process will be exactly the same by going to LF tire and worming clockwise with the clicker. This is also the GENUINE MOTORCRAFT CLICKER, not some garbage one. Worked great for me!

A: No, did not come with instruction. Got the instructions online as follows:Enter training mode:1. Make sure all doors are open.2. Make sure key is OFF.3. Press and release brake pedal.4. Cycle key from OFF to RUN 3 times, ending in RUN.5. Press and release brake pedal.6. Turn key to OFF.7. Cycle key from OFF to Run 3 times, ending in Run. (The horn will blow indicating system is in training mode)8. Follow the display on the instrument panel indicating what order to set each wheel by placing the TMPS19 as close to the wheel sensor as possible and pressing the button until the horn blow indicating that wheel is set.9. After you set the last wheel the instrument panel display will say training complete. It worked great with these instructions. It did take longer to get the aftermarket sensor in one wheel to take. The wheels with original equipment sensor took the program as soon as I pressed the button.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SO easy to use! Worked perfectly on the first try!
*by J***N on April 15, 2019*

I didnt even bother researching the instructions. The comments section of Amazon has the answer. I used the below procedure and I got it finished up on the first try. It took maybe 1 minute total. 1. Make sure all tires are inflated to the vehicle’s recommended inflation pressures (found in the owner’s manual on the door placard). 2. Turn the ignition switch to OFF then press and release the brake pedal. 3. Turn the ignition switch from OFF to RUN (engine OFF) 3 times, ending in the RUN position. Do this within 10 seconds. 4. Press and release the brake pedal. 5. Turn the ignition switch back to OFF. 6. Turn the ignition switch from OFF to RUN (engine OFF) 3 times, ending in the RUN position. Do this within 10 seconds. 7. The horn should sound letting you know the vehicle has entered into TPMS relearn mode 8. Place the VT10’s antenna on the sidewall of the driver’s side front tire in the location of the valve stem. 9. Hold the left button of the VT10 triggering tool for 5-10 seconds. The vehicle’s horn will sound letting you know the sensor has been learned. 10. Once the horn sounds, move on to the passenger side front tire and repeat the process. Each tire should only take 30 seconds or less. (it took 2 seconds for me) 11. After the passenger side front tire has been learned, continue on to the passenger side rear tire and finishing with the driver’s side rear tire. 12. You may now turn the ignition to OFF. If the horn does not sound, the sensors were learned successfully. If the horn sounds twice, then the process must be repeated because there was a malfunction. As soon as I hit the button near the tire the horn honked. I was surprised how quickly it worked. When I finished, everything was working perfectly. I love when a simple device makes a job easier and cheaper!
