It’s not the same internal components. Even if it would have turned on I would have returned for the cheap redesign they made. The original I had worked for 3 years. Look at the pics New vs Old and tell me whats missing. There was no selection for the issue with this on Amazon. Then they had the nerve to tell me it turned on and they were going to charge me shipping.
