I have no where to plug the rice cooker other than behind the fridge which needs a long cord to reach it.** A: Not long enough for that, but a simple extension cord (it is a two prong plug) will fix that. Or, since the machine is always on when it is plugged in, you can use a power strip and use the toggle switch to turn the rice maker on and off.
